Job Description: The Student Affairs Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall student experience by providing support, guidance, and resources to students in various aspects. This position involves collaborating with students and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment. The Student Affairs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating programs and services that promote student engagement and success. This position requires that you study Vital Transformation’s content, found on our website, and become acquainted with who VT is and what VT teaches so that you can pass knowledge on to students while interacting with them. Responsibilities:- Responsible for overseeing an array of classes both on and off-site, including but not limited to:
- Communicate with Social Media department for class flyers, paperless post invites, Constant Contact emails related to the events
- Communicate with teacher a week before class to see if there are handouts and QR codes that need to be made, and consequently make if requested
- Build a team of volunteers to help set up/break down event space and clean before and after event
- Organize all inventory before class (plates, utensils, cups, etc.)
- Create a volunteer event team with specific roles for greeting students, filling up the seats properly, setting up food and drinks, etc.
- Give announcements before and after class
- Foster relationships with students and make sure that they come back to classes and become a community member
- Input CRM information into database and make sure all contacts are up-to-date and accurate
- Facilitate communications between students and teacher by identifying the need for meetings and ensuring that information reaches the appropriate person
- Must be available for evening hours
- Associates degree required
- Knowledge of Jewish community
- Previous experience at a Jewish nonprofit is preferred
